Rude Rude Rude

I was in a hurry on my way back from the gym just moments ago, and as I was scurrying across the sidewalk, my stiletto got caught in the hem of my pants and I fell. I fell pretty hard. This is not unusual for me, though I seem to go in spurts of clumsiness. (This exact incident has happened to me no less than five times. Stilettos and flowy black pants, while stylish, are also a dangerous combination for someone as clumsy as I am.) What WAS unusual, and quite rude, were the Japanese tourists who laughed, pointed, and took pictures of me after my fall. I mean SERIOUSLY...who does that? Falling IS funny, I'm the first one to admit, but you don't point and laugh at someone you don't know, and you most certainly don't take photographs.

What did I do? I said very sternly, "That is RUDE...Very RUDE"...and I huffed off.

The Strand Race

I love this video! I always dreamed of this happening when I was doing a 21 mile training run on the strand. I had to use my imagination that the passersby were cheering me on. This would have been the real thing!

Sorry for the lack of posts as of late. I will do a big update early next week to recap the past month. It's been a busy one!
